As a music educator with over 20 years of experience, Jasmine is passionate about helping students grow their love for music in a fun, supportive, and personalized way. She’s taught in four provinces and hold degrees in Music Performance and Music Education from McGill, the University of Windsor, and the University of Calgary, along with certifications from the RCM and training in methods like Suzuki, Bastien, Kodály, Fletcher, and more. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to dive deeper into piano, beginner violin or cello, music theory, or history — she’s here to guide them every step of the way. She’s also been lucky to perform across Canada and internationally with groups like the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, L'Orchestre de la Francophonie, and the Windsor Symphony, and with artists including Il Divo, Michael Buble, Disturbed; just to name a few! But most importantly, she believes music should be joyful and inclusive. If classical pieces aren't of interest to your child, we can explore soundtracks, video game music, or pop songs — as she love arranging pieces to match each student's interests and challenges. With a background in dance, she also understands the importance of movement and a healthy body while playing. Outside of teaching, she enjoys gardening, baking, designing tattoos, traveling, discovering new cafés, and cozying up with a good indie game on her Switch.
